Where our information comes from
We use a mix of manufacturer information, product documentation, retailer details, customer feedback, and other reliable sources to understand how a product is likely to perform in everyday use. We do not pretend to have personally owned every product we discuss, and where hands-on experience is not available, we make that clear.
Why we include the drawbacks
A product can look beautiful, feel solid in the hand, and still be wrong for plenty of homes. That is why we give real space to the awkward parts — bulky storage, fiddly cleaning, noise, weight, limited usefulness, or anything else that might make you regret giving it shelf or counter space.
